BCCNY Book Discussion Group
Vagelos Alumnae Center Conference Room, Broadway & 117th Street
Join our new group, meeting on campus, as we review If Beale Street Could Talk by James Baldwin. This novel is a moving story of love in the face of injustice and has been reviewed by The Philadelphia Inquirer as one of the best books that James Baldwin ever wrote, “perhaps the best of all.” If you have seen the current film version, we can compare it to the book. We can go for coffee or a bite to eat after the discussion.
RSVP by February 15 to firstname.lastname@example.org. We hope this will be the first of a series of book discussions on an ongoing basis.
