BCCNY ZOOM EVENT:  HOW TO MAKE A MID-CAREER CHANGE

Date: Wednesday, September 16, 2020 (6:30 – 7:30 PM)

Speaker: Caroline Ceniza-Levine, Co-Founder of SixFigureStart®

Whether you have recently started in your career or have years of experience, you may want to make a change—a bigger role, a new industry, more fulfillment, a better work/life match.

How do you decide what your next career move should be when you have multiple interests and competing priorities and don’t want to make the wrong choice? Join Barnard alumna Caroline Ceniza-Levine for a one-hour webinar on charting your career change.  She will be discussing:

  • Changing your career without changing your job—why subtle changes are often enough.
  • Playing offense and defense—how to weigh the inevitable trade-offs in career decisions.
  • Zooming out to zoom in on what matters to you, your “why” or North Star.
  • Real-life examples of clients who pivoted their careers in significant ways, each using a different approach.

Caroline Ceniza-Levine is the co-founder of SixFigureStart® and specializes in career change. She is a Barnard College graduate and teaches professional development courses at Barnard Athena Center, SIPA and Columbia Business School. A Senior Contributor at Forbes.com, Caroline also wrote for Money.com, Time.com, CNBC and Portfolio. A multiple time career-changer herself, Caroline trained as a classical pianist and worked in banking, management consulting, executive recruiting, corporate HR and the arts, before launching SixFigureStart® in 2008.
